Travel Trends: Fashion Inspiration

Thursday, February 21st, 2013 | Inspiration, Travel Tips

Attending NYFW is on my (ever-growing) bucket list, but for now I’ll just have to enjoy it via the blogs and helpful Instagram hashtags. But the pretty colors, interesting textures, and creative outfits have me dreaming about all kinds of other things on that “dream” list; namely places I want to go!

What could be better than fashion-inspired travel?

Pret a Portea at The Berkley Hotel, London

Inspired by designers such as Marc Jacobs, Yves Saint Laurent and Manolo Blahnik, tea service showcases cookies in the shape of booties and eclairs in the season’s hottest colors.

Louis Vuitton Cup, San Francisco

Pack your boat shoes and head starboard to watch the 30th annual racing of the Louis Vuitton Cup in San Francisco Bay; the winner competes in America’s Cup!

Hotel Petit Du Moulin, Paris

Hotel Petit Du Moulin

So you can’t afford one of his heart-stopping gowns, that doesn’t mean you can’t bask in the luxury of this fashion icon for a night or two. From the lobby to the latrines, ornate touches and opulent fabrics designed by Lacroix make the hotel a fantastic escape!

But for now, it’s back to watching the runways! *Le Sigh*
